At a time when the United States seemed to lose its way for democracy for truth, equality and justice and where lies become the ‘norm’ replacing truth and when hateful and subversive rhetoric replaced fact, I confess I have never been more proud of a President.

This Republican strategy is not about politics as much as it is about class war waged by the rich against the poor. In 2001 Republicans and George W Bush told Americans the Bush tax cuts would boost the economy, it did not; these tax cuts did however help to drive the U.S. Economy into near bankruptcy.
