Sean Hannity and Alan Colmes’ FOX News show has finally been cancelled.  After 12 years this right-wing pundants for George W Bush and the Republican Party, are no more.

As a political junkie, I have never witnessed such distorted and dishonest ‘reporting’ on any network in my life.  What I did witness over the years were two white guys whose so-called news was nothing more than yelling and slander, which was not news, nor was it entertaining.I do not know who I will miss more, Hannity’s inability to tell the truth or Colmes’ unwillingness to point it out.

In my opinion, Colmes was a partisan hack who added nothing to the show.  He came across as the spoiled brat, who, when he did not get his way, took his ball and went home.  Colmes was just plain annoying and offered little to the debate.

Hannity’s viewership had the hate-filled mentality of that crazy white haired lady who made her appearance at a McCain rally when she told McCain she would not vote for Obama because he was an Arab. 

These guys were both jerks!  They spouted they offered ‘no spin’, that they were ‘fair and balanced’; that all other cable news shows were ‘lying’!

Were they for real?  They spun falsehoods and untruths akin to those spouted by George W Bush and Dick Cheney.

But for those low information voters more interested in ignorance than facts, do not lose heart.  Hannity launches a new show on Fox called ‘Hannity’s America’. Colmes will host a Fox News Radio Show called, what else, ‘The Alan Colmes Show’.

I was hoping the wave of their anti-intellectualism was about to stop.  Obviously, I was wrong.
