Republican Tea Party Breeding American Hate

Love_it_or_leave_it.jpgEveryone knows by now that ‘patriotism’ has been turned into a 4-letter word by the Republican Tea Party who uses this word in an attempt to cover their tracks to use inciteful rhetoric for violence against the United States.  They have created a breeding ground for rage directed at the U.S. Government which are providing the majority of these people with financial stability, health care and domestic and foreign security.  They use the same philosophy al Qaeda uses encouraging acts of violence with hate speech clearly designed for purposes which basically in threatens, intimidates and misleads their base.

Their plan is very simple, when they stir up rage, violence occurs and the Republican Tea Party then blames the Government, the President, the Democratic Congress, Liberals and Progressives.

They blame their personal misfortunes on anyone and everyone but especially their perceived sinister forces at the federal government.  This is not altogether inaccurate in lieu of the economic recession, joblessness and the growing federal deficit.  However, history is clear that the Republican Tea Party is the exact reason Americans find themselves in this situation.  When an American family runs out of unemployment benefits or has a health care crisis and the result is absolute personal catastrophe in which there is simply no money left to buy food, pay rent, or meet electricity bills, thank a Republican! The Republican Tea Party believes ‘civilization’ ends at the threshold of the “free market” (enriching oneself at others’ expense.)  They exalt themselves and denigrate others whom they disdainfully call ‘bums’ and speak of the meager income the poor may get from the government as “entitlements’ which must mean most of these same name-calling people are bums as well.

The Republican Tea Party refuses to see it is themselves who are the irresponsible ones, because they refuse to contribute their fair share back to the social well-being of American society and the good of the many.  They prefer to complain about having to pay any taxes while they leech off the labor and work of low income workers and pocket the profits gained on the backs of people they despise and people whose wages they have held back for decades, by fraud and classist rationalizations. These are the people who leech off the very system that affords them their opportunities but then begrudge those less fortunate than they any benefit from that very same system. It is “do as I say, not as I do because they reserve the right to “get theirs’ but hate others who may receive even a pittance of benefit from a miserly, two tiered system that rewards the rich and punishes the poor.  The 2001 Bush tax cuts rewarded the top 2% of Americans while robbing the U.S. Treasure of $1.3 Trillion in revenue. These are the whores of Wall Street and the enemies of America’s middle and poor class.

When major financial institutions are on the verge of collapse, The Republican Tea Party is quick to come to their rescue.  Voting for the banks and against taxpayers and consumers; when taxpayers are on the brink of economic collapse, they scream, shout, and threaten anyone who comes to their rescue. The American public wants jobs and financial reform. They want to go back to work and make sure that the Wall Street bankers who tanked the economy cannot keep getting rich by hijacking Americans’ savings, yet Republicans have done absolutely NOTHING to help create jobs in more than a decade. Remember when asked on CNN if “people are unemployed because they want to be,” former GOP House leader Tom DeLay said: “Well, it is the truth!”

The Republican Tea Party’s approach to health care reform is non-existent because they callously think people who need quality and affordable health care are beneath Republicans because these Americans are poor; they deserve a life of illness, poverty and wretchedness. They ignore the fact that many Americans on unemployment are mostly there because The Republican Tea Party destroyed America’s financial system and put the poor in the street; many Americans are often poor through NO fault of their own.

The irony is that families with a net worth of at least $1 million, excluding their primary residence, rose to 7.8 million in 2009, the worst year of the economic recession but the unemployment rate reached double digits, as millions of Americans lost their homes, and wages for most workers stagnated. The United States is unique among industrialized countries in its enormous income inequality. Data from the U.S. Department of Labor shows that if income inequality continues to rise at the current rate, the income gap in the United States “will resemble that of Mexico by year 2043.”

We have reached the point in this country where rallies include posters blaming the President of all of this country’s problems which is absolutely ludicrous!   The truth is, the huge majority of the gun-toting, name-calling un-educated protesters are white and these people proudly display their racist and bigoted hatred of not only our President but our democracy.   The Republican Tea Party has been calling for the overthrow of the U.S. Government for more than a year.

Infamous quitter former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has spent months going to great lengths ratcheting up her rhetoric of violence lying about a government takeover of health care, death panels, etc yet admitting in her first Canadian appearance she used the Canadian single-payer health care system for her family. With the passage of health care reform she reacted by urging her Twitter followers to “RELOAD”

Then there is the pseudo leader of The Republican Tea Party Rush Limbaugh who launched more than a year-long full court press against President Barack Obama, trying to link health care reform with Nazism.

This is the ‘Party’ responsible for shouting racial epithets at African American members of Congress and spitting on them.

This is the mantra of The Republican Tea Party!  Remember The Republican Tea Party members were outraged last year when Homeland Security released a report about right-wing extremism, wanting to protect their ‘base’.

The Republican Tea Party is totally responsible for the rampant anti-government rhetoric and vigilante violence going on in America today as their rallies, often with violent imagery and open talk of insurrection. They are the birther brigade, marching around with Swastika posters, brandished guns, and cheer when Glenn Beck compares our President to a dangerous, Hitler-like tyrant who wants to “take your gun away one way or another.”  They are supported by Republican leaders in Congress giving rousing speeches of support to these American al-Qaeda radicalists.

“I reached the decision to go on the offensive — to put a check on government abuse of power.” I wanted to “send a message to a government” by “bombing a government building and the government employees within that building who represent that government.” Tim McVeigh. Sound familiar?

April 19, 1995, McVeigh drove a rented 20-foot Ryder truck, parked it in front of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in downtown Oklahoma City and detonated a three-ton ammonium nitrate bomb killing 168 people and injuring hundreds more. Today, more and more combatants birthed from The Republican Tea Party appear to be signing up for duty, as this ‘Party’ has become the breeding ground for American Hate.

How dare these people wave the American flag while they dishonor our basic values with their despicable appeals to the darkest impulses of the most radical extremes!

Congressional Republican Tea Party members are not serious about governing or leading; they are not serious about Americans as is obvious from their decades-long relentless pursuit of profits in the name of America’s greedy elite. Tax cuts for the rich, shipping American jobs overseas, supporting Wall Street, ignoring America’s infrastructure, schools, children or any institution or project which supports the working class and poor or the overall good for ALL Americans. The Republican Tea Party decided decades ago they deserve to be enormously wealthy on the backs of the peasant Americans who they can manipulate, deceive and lie to.

The Republican Tea Party is an inclusive group as they welcome far-right extremists, militia groups, white supremacists, tax protesters, birthers, and fundamentalist Christians. They are not so inclusive to women, social justice supporting Christians, gays, African Americans, Asians, Muslims, Atheists, Hispanics or any other non-white ethnic group.

The Republican Tea party has cultivated this poisonous, arm-yourself-against-the-government hysteria, and now they own it and the increasingly predictable and unfortunately at times deadly consequences.

Those who do not like the United States, who seek to destroy its freedoms and incite violence against our elected officials and our citizens, are certainly free to leave and find a country more suitable to their political values.

Brent Budowsky writes “It is un-American to call the nation to fear. It is un-American to call the nation to hate. It is un-American to use slander and lies to divide Americans against each other.”

Millions of Americans have enjoyed the benefits of our American society whether it is social security, Medicare, the security and service of our honorable military or the social entities of educating our children, protection by police and fire departments or public transportation.  While the U.S. Government is not perfect, I am a proud American and I salute our government in the massive undertaking of caring for the millions of seniors, the disabled and those in great need; the security of our nation and the benefits enjoyed by every citizen. Fear mongering and denouncing this country and seeking its overthrow by The Republican Tea Party adds no positive value in supporting America democracy.

Americans of all races, creeds and political persuasions must come to terms with the true agenda of The Republican Tea Party.  Their actions, words and deeds are destroying the very foundation of integrity, honesty and moral values of this great democracy and those of hardworking, taxpaying citizens.  They have been ‘outed’ time and again.  During the upcoming Congressional elections, we must ask ourselves who has the best interest of the American people at heart.  Democrats, as dysfunctional as a few of them sometimes are, hold the best hope for America, for our children, our future, our values and our freedom.

Voting for Democrat in 2010 will help put American families over politics, Wall Street and hateful rhetoric.
